Naturally gluten-free food

Going gluten-free can be a big change. The biggest worry at the start is learning what food contains gluten and what doesn't.

There are some foods that are naturally gluten-free, knowing these will help make the adjustment to living gluten-free a bit easier.

Fruit and vegetables

A variety of fruit and vegetables, including strawberries, peppers and bananas.

They can go with every meal, they are a good safe starting point for building what you know is safe to eat.

Meat and poultry

Again another simple safe food. However be careful when they are covered in sauces as they may contain gluten.

Fish and seafood

Like meat and poultry you need to be careful when they are covered in toppings and sauces.

Dairy

But make sure you read the labels to check for any gluten additives.

Beans and legumes

These maybe something that you don't currently use, but they are a great additional food you can adapt into your cooking.

Nuts

Rice

Potatoes

These can make a great snake, and there are so many different types of seeds to choose from.
